Headquartered in Warren, Michigan, College Park Industries is a designer and manufacturer of state-of-the-art prosthetic devices. College Park is seeking a dynamic certified prosthetist with a strong background in both lower and upper extremity prosthetics to join the team as a CPO – Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist/CP – Clinical Educator. TheCPO – Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist/CP – Clinical Educator will work closely with the Education and Technical Service team in the development of internal and external product education materials and support. This position requires a willing and able person to lead and execute initiatives relating to domestic and international clinical training events, industry presentations, certification courses, written technical materials, online and in-person education, and clinical product validation. This position requires regular interaction with external customers and distributors, internal training to various departments, as well as advising the engineering and research departments with new product development.
POSITION expect to start in January 2024. Work from anywhere in U.S. Sponsoring a Visa is not available. Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Pay range: $85,000 – $90,000 based on experience
Job Description/Responsibilities
- Perform clinical and sales support, virtually and in-person
- Handle customer and end-user inquiries/complaints via phone, email, or in-person
- Seek out industry educational opportunities for College Park
- Prepare/present clinical training programs/courses
- Be an authority on technology at tradeshows, symposiums, or training workshops
- Travel domestically and internationally minimum of ten times per year
- Develop and maintain strong global industry relationships
- Have strong understanding of HCPCS, L-codes & Medicare reimbursement
Qualifications
- Must be willing to travel
- Master’s of Prosthetics and Orthotics (MPO), Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a clinical science or biological science or related field, or MPO
- Certification from the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics as a Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) or Certified Prosthetist (CP) – Minimum 3 years of experience preferred
